The European Recycled Plastics Index tracks the changing market prices in the European scrap / secondary
plastics industry .
The Index consists of a weighted basket of specific benchmark grades of
recovered / secondary plastic. The benchmarks include specific grades of PET,
HDPE, LDPE, PVC, Nylon and ABS.
The Index includes snapshots of 5 viewpoints of market trends :
the past 7 days, past 30 days, past 90 days, past 1 year and past 2 years.
The Composite Index is derived from current spot market prices
originating from the
AL-TO-MATE Plastic Exchange (APE). This source of data is
proprietary in nature and may not reflect external markets trends.
